Rev Edward Sakwe

Edward Sakwe joined the bandwagon of John Wesley's preachers in 2004 under the umbrella of the World Church in Britain Partnership, a Connexional programme that invited ministers from partner churches abroad for circuit appointments.

Edward has since then, served in three Circuits- Leicester North, Cannock Chase, Leeds North & East and now Hinckley. Edward has done a full circle of his ministerial travels – from East Midlands to West Midlands, to Yorkshire and back to East Midlands.

He enjoys leading worship, reaching out to the minority groups in the community.
Pastoral oversight is one of his strengths in ministry. Edward is married to Esther, the rock behind his ministry, and they are blessed with three children and one granddaughter.
Edward spends his leisure time in the garden and enjoys football.
